Dental Implants
Recapture your smile with the number one tooth replacement solution in Cary.
The Problem
When you have a missing tooth, it negatively affects both your health and confidence. Health-wise, a missing tooth can cause shifting, loss of jawbone, and periodontal disease. Confidence can be affected, which leads to less smiling, covering your mouth, and embarrassment.
The Solution
Dental implants are the ideal solution for those with missing teeth. Implants consist of a titanium post being carefully placed into your jawbone and acting as an artificial root. This root is topped with an abutment, which creates the base for a tooth restoration to be fitted, e.g. crown or bridge.
The Benefits
The popularity of implants is no coincidence – there are many benefits, including:
- Replacing missing teeth
- Restoring function to your bite
- Preserving your facial structure
- Protecting the health of your teeth and jawbone
The Experts
Our Cary dental implants are placed in-house using modern technology.
Endodontics
The study of endodontics refers to the specialty area of dentistry that involves root canal therapy. In the past, root canals struck fear into patients but due to advancements in technology and new techniques, they are performed with comfort and speed.
So why might you need a root canal? A common cause is lack of dental hygiene and missing your dental appointments. Root canals can be avoided if cavities are diagnosed early and repaired with a simple filling. However, if plaque and decay are left to grow, painful symptoms such as tooth sensitivity, inflamed gums, and abscesses could occur.
The reason for these symptoms is due to the inside of the tooth (pulp) becoming infected. This allows negative bacteria to spread, which could eventually kill your tooth. A root canal can save your tooth as your dentist removes the infection and seals it using a special material.
Sometimes it may be necessary to protect the affected tooth with a crown, but each case varies.
It was really nice there. The Dr took her time and made me feel really comfortable. I had to have some cavities filled and she was really gentle with the injection and patient. Because she was so calm, I was calm. And they are all very friendly there! I felt sedated when I walked out due to the relaxation I felt while there. It’s a nice setting and the staff is really nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place!
