CEREC® Same-Day Dentistry
One Visit Dental Care
CEREC® is a leading name in restorative dentistry. This advanced technology allows our Raleigh dental practice the ability to provide same-day restorations.
Our well-trained dentists use 3-D scanners to grab digital impressions of your afflicted tooth. Using these images, we are able to design your new crown, bridge, or other restoration with great precision. This data is then transferred to our milling machine where your custom-made replacement is made.
These restorations eliminate the need for temporaries, goopy impressions, and contain zero metal. The end result is a beautiful tooth-colored replacement to restore your smile.
When your tooth has broken, cracked, or severely worn away, dental crowns are the ideal solution. A crown acts as a custom-made cap that fits over your damaged tooth and protects it. Our dental crowns in Raleigh are designed to match your natural smile and restore the function of your tooth. To begin, our team uses CEREC® computer software to take digital impressions of the afflicted tooth. CAD/CAM technology is then used to design the ideal restoration for your tooth. The new design is digitally sent to our in-house milling machine for creation.
The final restoration is bonded into place for extra stability and durability. Your repaired tooth regains its natural look and function while being protected against any further damage. Crowns can be cared for as you would you normal teeth and can be very long-lasting.
Are you experiencing the frustration of a missing tooth? Did you know you could damage your entire smile if you don’t replace it? It’s true. A missing tooth can destabilize the surrounding teeth and cause shifting or jaw bone deterioration. The good news is your restorative dentists in Raleigh have the solution – dental bridges.
A dental bridge consists of two crowns on either side of an artificial tooth. These crowns are placed over the adjacent teeth and anchor the new tooth into place, giving you a new smile! Bridges are very effective and are custom-made to fit your smile. They match the natural color of your teeth and restore function back to your bite. Bridges are assessed during every check-up and can be cared for as you would your natural teeth.
The staff and the whole practice have been very friendly since I first came. The business hours have helped give me options to choose my appointments. The facility is very clean and is well taken care of. I'm very satisfied that this dentist uses many insurance plans.

Cavities are one of the most common dental problems and can take shape without your knowledge. Our caring dentists assess your teeth for cavities during your regular checkups and may recommend a filling.
Many offices provide amalgam fillings with unsightly metal, but at our offices, we use metal-free composite fillings. These fillings are tooth colored and actually bond with your teeth for a more comprehensive restoration.
The filling process is fast and simple. Your dentist begins by cleaning the area and removing any plaque or decay. Next, he or she will fill the hole and harden the composite material. Finally, we shape the restoration to look natural, discreet, fit your bite, and polish the filling for an aesthetically-pleasing finish.
Composite or tooth-colored fillings are durable and long lasting. Plus, they can and should be cared for as you would your natural teeth.
On occasion, part of your tooth may be missing due to decay or trauma. When this happens, your experienced dentist may recommend an inlay or onlay. These restorations use a composite, tooth-colored material to restore the shape and function of your tooth. This material is metal free, biocompatible, and matches your natural smile.
Inlays and onlays can be planned, designed, and placed in one visit with CEREC® technology. First, we begin by assessing the area and taking digital impressions of the tooth. Second, we use the impressions to plan the restoration so it accurately fits your tooth and matches your tooth shade. After the design process, the inlay or onlay is created in the milling machine and precisely placed into your mouth.
The end result is a restored tooth that can function just like before! Inlays and onlays are an effective way to save and repair damaged teeth.
There comes a time in life when your teeth begin to fail and may even fall out. The frustration from this can not only affect your eating and speaking, but also your confidence and self-esteem. At Night & Day Dental, we are proud to offer a range of denture options to fit your individual needs.
You’ll find both conventional removable dentures and immediate dentures at our dental offices. Although both provide a nice restoration, they may require adjustments over time. If you are looking for a more permanent solution then our implant-supported dentures may be the ideal choice.
Partial: If only a few teeth are missing then our restorative dentists may recommend a partial denture. This choice is custom-made to match your smile and is held in place with a clasp or similar. Partials are removable for cleaning and can be a stable solution.
Full: When all your teeth have been removed from the upper or lower arch then a full denture is an ideal option. These removable dentures sit on top of the gums and are held in place with a clasp or similar device. Although very effective, they can allow gum recession and occasionally loosen.
Implant-Supported: For a more permanent solution, we recommend implant-supported dentures. Dental implants hold this device in place. The implants are placed into your jawbone for greater stability and longevity. The denture is then clipped into position and held into place.
As a dental practice, our primary goal is to safeguard your teeth and keep them healthy. Unfortunately, due to severe decay, extreme trauma, or misalignment, we occasionally have to remove a tooth. However, the extraction process doesn’t need to be drawn out or difficult; rather, we can perform this procedure in-house.
A tooth extraction can be completed in a single visit and involves our team gently removing your tooth. The process begins by numbing the area around the tooth and preparing it for a quick removal. After the tooth is extracted, we keep the area clean and protected.
Once healed, we will recommend the ideal replacement option, which may include a dental bridge or dental implants. Whatever the best option for you, rest assured we’ll guide you through the entire process.
